Alkagesta Posts Record H1 2026 Revenues of $3.5 Billion as Volumes Rise 53%
Physical trading volumes reached 4.9 million metric tonnes in the first half of 2026 as Alkagesta expanded into aviation fuel, crude deliveries, and Antwerp storage.

Commodity trading house Alkagesta generated record revenues of $3.5 billion during the first half of 2026, driven by an expansion in physical trading volumes. Handled volumes climbed 53 percent year on year to reach 4.9 million metric tonnes over the six-month period. The performance was highlighted across multiple regional and trade publications following the release of the half-year figures.
Following the first-half performance, the trading group projected that its total traded volumes will surpass 10 million metric tonnes for the full year 2026. This expansion has been supported by broader product diversification and geographic growth. Company management currently holds a 35 percent equity stake in the business and has indicated plans to increase this holding.
Among key commercial milestones, Alkagesta established a presence in the aviation fuel sector via access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System. The period also marked the group's entry into physical crude oil trading. These operations included an end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels of crude oil to buyers in the Far East.
In the Asia-Pacific market, the firm expanded throughput at its Singapore trading hub. Monthly volumes handled through the hub reached approximately 250,000 metric tonnes during the first half of the year. The facility remains a core hub for supporting the group's regional supply chains.
To support product flows in Europe, Alkagesta finalized a multi-year biofuel storage contract at the Pantank terminal in Antwerp. This addition brought the company's total storage capacity across European and Asian locations to 700,000 cubic meters. The infrastructure positions the company to maintain logistics flexibility across both conventional refined products and biofuels.
