Image & Content Attribution Policy

How we handle source material, licensing and image rights.

Source material

We do not republish source articles. We publish independent editorial summaries that credit and link to the original publisher. Where a publisher asks us to change how we attribute their reporting, we will do so.

Images

Our image workflow follows a strict order of preference. First, an original source image is used only where an appropriate image exists, is technically retrievable, its use is permitted by the source or licensing terms or explicitly approved by an administrator, and attribution requirements can be met. Second, a licensed or administrator-approved asset is used. Third, where no legally usable image exists, we generate a clearly illustrative image from an article-specific prompt.

We do not automatically scrape and republish copyrighted images. Where licensing status is unclear, we default to a licensed asset or an illustrative generated image.

Records

For every image we retain the source URL where applicable, licensing status, attribution requirement and completion state, generation prompt, model and timestamp. These records are reviewable in our internal image audit.
