Alkagesta Expands Trading Footprint Across Crude, Jet and Bunker Markets
Alkagesta has published its 1H 2026 performance update, detailing growth in European jet fuel distribution, new crude transactions, and expanding Singapore marine fuel volumes.

Commodity trading group Alkagesta has released its commercial and operational performance update for the first half of 2026 alongside its 2025 annual report. The results reflect operations during a period marked by elevated market volatility and international supply chain pressures across agricultural and energy commodities. Alkagesta managed these disruptions through disciplined risk controls, logistics coordination, and procurement strategies to maintain consistent deliveries to its counterparties.
In the energy sector, the trading firm preserved ongoing supply lines covering utility, aviation, marine, and road transport fuels across regional hubs in Asia and Europe. These operations supported regional energy security despite challenging geopolitical conditions that impacted international trade flows. The group placed sustained emphasis on risk mitigation and reliable logistics execution across its broad fuel portfolio.
A significant operational milestone during the six-month period occurred in the aviation fuel segment with the expansion of European Jet A1 supply operations. Alkagesta secured approval from a NATO agency, granting the company direct access to NATO pipeline infrastructure. Following this regulatory and infrastructure milestone, the company initiated commercial jet fuel deliveries across European distribution channels.
The first half of 2026 also marked Alkagesta's operational entry into physical crude oil trading. The company carried out two initial Suezmax cargo transactions as part of a phased expansion strategy for this newly introduced business line. Concurrently, the group expanded its marine fuels presence in Singapore, reaching an established monthly sales run-rate between 200,000 and 250,000 metric tons.
Alongside its hydrocarbons activities, Alkagesta maintained steady throughput across its agricultural commodities division. The group continued procurement and distribution of fertilizers to agricultural clients facing prolonged market tightness. These fertilizer operations contributed to the maintenance of critical farming supply chains and international food security requirements.
