Alkagesta has carried out its inaugural truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery at the Port of Constanța in Romania. The operation involved two road tankers discharging 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil on 2 October 2026. This activity establishes a new physical distribution capability for the trading company within the Black Sea marine fuels market.

The Constanța transfer builds upon the company's broader commodity distribution network across European markets. Incorporating truck-to-vessel delivery enhances the firm's established supply chains for petroleum products and renewable fuels in Romania. The country has served an increasingly prominent function in the group's regional trading operations throughout 2026.

In Western Europe, the trader expanded its aviation fuel footprint earlier in 2026 after gaining entry to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System. The integration permitted Jet A1 consignments into European commercial aviation channels during a period marked by strict supply constraints. Growing military utilization of the infrastructure added further logistical hurdles for civilian jet fuel distribution.

The company also advanced its broader crude and renewable fuel trading activities during the same operational period. Alkagesta completed its initial crude oil transactions, executing the end-to-end shipment of around 1.07 million barrels to Asian destinations. Concurrently, the group concluded a multi-year biofuel storage contract at the Pantank facility in Antwerp and signed a five-year supply agreement for used cooking oil feedstock.

In the Asia-Pacific region, the firm reported commercial growth through its bunkering desk in Singapore. The Singapore office reached monthly marine fuel trading volumes of roughly 250,000 metric tonnes within its first year of operation. Alongside these energy flows, Alkagesta continued handling fertilizer volumes amidst global supply chain disruptions affecting agricultural commodity markets.
